Red Rock Springs Barns / Ag / Ranch

Tucked amid the twisting banks, branching brooks, and eddying swirls of the Red Rock River, this humble but playful sportsman’s compound consists of a Lookout Tower, inspired by the historic lineage of iconic US Forest Service wildfire lookout towers, and a modest one-room Fishing Cabin.

An open stair wraps around the back of the Viewing Tower, stopping at a mid-level mezzanine before continuing up to an observation deck thirty feet above the ground. Three walls of glass, one of which opens completely, enclose a small covered sitting area with just enough room for four cozy lounge chairs and an inviting back bar.

The Fishing Cabin tucks into a low hillside, its planted roof barely distinguishable from the native grasses and shrubs behind. Heated by an antique wood stove and with room for fishing gear and a few club chairs, this cozy cabin has exactly what you need and nothing you don’t.
