Watkins Creek Ranch

Jack Watkins’ father, the namesake of the creek near Ennis, Montana where this structure is built, was involved in the construction of the Old Faithful Lodge. This original cabin was built by Jack in 1917 for his family. The new owners sought to update the home for modern living while maintaining its historical character. The kitchen and bathrooms were remodeled and a mud room was added. Windows were enlarged and doors were added along with new porches to help connect the interior to the outdoors. A spectacular juniper handrail by Mr. Watkins leads to the library, giving a nice nod to the historical heritage of this property.
